Am I dreaming?

Seem to sometime 

But then I realise

There's true poetry

In our effortless rhyme

We came together

Deep in talk

Me the board, you the chalk

Questions posed

Stories shared

So entwined

in our inquiring mind 

Lay the lights

Roll that tree

Unwrap that sugar

Then you'll really see

Smiling

Sniggering

Uncontrollably

Take a breath

There's no mocking 

Well not from me

But then there it comes

Not heard before

It's outta me

Laugh my arse off 

It's on the floor

When I see your face

It makes my heart 

Run that race

Skip a beat
Lift apart

You've changed my frequency

Past pain
Your smile erodes

Electric feel

Breathe a low roar

Softly signalling

Crimson sparks gold

Red hot rawness will it last?

Once outside
Amongst the crowds

We seem to float

To my little boat

I may just talk to anyone

My liquid centred golden sun

Reasonably ripe

Perfectly plucked
