That long silvery thread that joins us wherever I am, wherever you are…
Thoughts and feelings collide mid-air.
Touch briefly before they float away, dissolving in the upstream of living.
Others silently embrace, morphing into one shared moment.
Distance does not deter the connection.
Dips and dives, playfully pirouetting across the miles.
No conscious or planned thoughts, more an intuitive response from something deeper within.
Heart or mind; a trigger, an impulse and an unknown.
A sycamore seed spiralling, tumbling, tilting and gyrating, there is alluring purpose, drive and direction.
We started as single strands, seeking ideas, experiences and stimulants to build and extend our own web of life’s purpose, identity and fulfilment.
But then the unexpected and organic confluence as we caught ourselves intertwined and strengthened in a shared moment.
Undefined yet with an overwhelming sense of something that cannot or will not be tied down.
Like a fine silk thread, we allow ourselves to be carried in the gentle, warm breeze of life, relishing the exquisite anticipation of a chance contact that conjures an all consuming sense of connectedness.
This is that long silvery thread that joins us wherever you are, wherever I am …
